Glad I founk it for great price!
Excellent CD, I was looking for it at my music stores but they didn't have it, I was glad I found it here, it has all their great songs. I loved every single on it.

Pleasant sounding
Pleasant sounding, especially tracks like: "Spooky", "Traces" and "Stormy", the rest pleasant but nothing really outstanding. That is probably why they only had one UK hit.

The Greatest Hits continue through the Classics
I needed a particular song from the CD (Traces) for an audition but found myself listen to the entire CD more than once. To be honest I had never heard of the group before but very much enjoyed the Greatest Hits.

Still Holds Up
This collection of soft-rock tunes from the late 60's still sounds good today. The best cut is "Traces", an achingly sad song that is superbly crafted from beginning to end. Much praise has to go to Dennis Yost for his smooth-as-silk vocals, but the musicians and arrangers are due their credit too. It's doubtful that this music will challenge you, BUT, if you like mellow love songs, mostly serious but some slightly humorous ("Spooky"), then this CD is for you.

Bar-None, Fine Pop Indeed
If you grew up in the late 60's and listened to am radio than you heard these guys quite a bit. First it was spooky, everyday with you girl, stormy, traces of love, etc. These southeast southern boys along with their frontman Dennis Yost definitely put a dent in the pop music world, regardless if their careers as a group only lasted a few years. It was magical, immaculent, and (dare I say) romantic. One cool piece of trivia is that 2 or 3 (can't recall) members of Classics IV went on to form the Atlanta Rhythm Section group, whom had a musical run with their brand of southern rock. All I can say is long may the southeast sounds of pop ring through the air. It was good.
