| The Real Deal
Aside from the fact that during this recording lead singer Hughie Thomasson's vocals are in back of the sound mix at times and earning a 4 star rating for that reason alone! For those who appreciate awsome harmony vocals and stellar guitar playing on a live recording, this is a record you can listen to over and over again and just pick out your favorite parts. With my lawn mowing earnings at the tender age of 12 i purchased this gem back in 1978 and was immediately floored with the raw and earnest sounds of intro - stick around for rock and roll. Although hughie on a stratocaster is the man, it was the heavenly sounds of Billy Jones on his black Les Paul guitar that has over the years led me to buy this album twice in vinyl, in cassete form. And now thanks to cduniverse available for the 1st time, though out of print for years, this record is available in sparkling cd format! Sadly lead guitar player Billy Jones passed on in the mid ninety's, band leader and guitar force himself Hughie Thomasson in 2006 but their legacy lives on forever during a few nights that we were able to join them during the prime of their musical journeys!

| Simply the Best Outlaws album!!!
This is a truly great live album! This album is to the Outlaws as the Fillmore Album is to the Allman Brothers. The version of Green Grass & High Tides is awesome! The Outlaws certainly live up their nickname, "The Florida Guitar Army". If you only get one Outlaw album- this is the one to get.

| Nothin short of thunderin southern rock
All in all a very respectable album of the outlaws greatest hits. The only thing I could find not satisfying about this compilation is the poor quality of the original recording. I think it sounds muffled.

| Great Performance!
I withheld one star for the production of this album. It sounds too 'wall of sound-ish' for my liking. I would have preferred a more spatial sound like the Allmans at Fillmore West. The vocals 9especially Hughie's) could be more prominent in the mix. Otherwise, the performance is great and a must-have for Outlaw fans.

| one of the best live albums from the 70s
with that intro said this live disc is up there with blackfoots highway songs , nugents gonzo, thin lizzy live and dangerous and ufos strangers in the night. bands just dont do this kind of stuff anymore great to have remastered.
