Death includes: Chuck Schuldiner (vocals, guitar); Rick Rozz (guitar); Terry Butler (bass); Bill Andrews (drums). Personnel: Chuck Schuldiner (vocals, guitar); Rick Rozz (guitar); Bill Andrews (drums). Recording information: Morrisound Studios, Tampa, FL. Photographer: Frank White. Chuck Schuldiner gets even darker and bleaker on Leprosy, the follow-up to Death's long-awaited 1987 debut, Scream Bloody Gore. Schuldiner recorded the album with a completely different Death lineup, but the record isn't terribly different from its predecessor, aside from a bit more polish in the production and composition. ~ Steve Huey Leprosy Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews The gods send Chuck For such a short period of release between scream bloody gor and this, this tops almost all other death metal albums ive ever heard. inspiring the future, this album made its mark with a hard death metal lyrics and impressive intrumentals. i gove Chuck Schuldiner a five stars out of five for this masterpeice.

Death Metal Classic This is earlier more thrash/speed metal that inspired Chuck to create Death from the ashes of Mantas (sp?).Well before the days of redefining Metal in general. I love this album, I bought it on cassette a long time ago, and thought I beter add it to my CD collection as well. If the record company would just reissue the Spiritual Healing Album. Death/Leprosy This album is a favorite of mine. Still great work even by today's standards and style. Submitted by eyemknow1 (Las Vegas,NV,USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Masterpiece of Brutality This album contains one of the most original and powerful death metal songs of all time, "Pull The Plug," which makes the album a classic all by itself. However, this whole album is incredibly fast and brutal, and musically superior to most other death metal albums before or since. Still one of the very best ever. A must buy. Editors: DJ Premier; Domenic Barbers; Carl Nappa. Photographer: Fred Durst. Let's start with the title, not only the winner for the Billy Corgan award for ludicrous monikers, but a title, like Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, that's a winking acknowledgement that the group knows what its stereotype is. Smashing Pumpkins knew everybody thought they were tragic romantics; Limp Bizkit know everybody believes they're juvenile vulgarians, so they're ready to prove 'em right. And how do they do that? With a title that's defiantly vulgar but, more revealingly, embarrassingly awkward. The scatological meaning of Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water is obvious to anyone who's graduated junior high, but it stumbles over its punch line, winding up as more bewildering than funny or offensive. But it doesn't stop there, or with the sickly cover art, since hot dogs and chocolate starfishes become lyrical themes on the album. Clearly, Limp leader Fred Durst takes some pride in his ass and dick joke, since he ...
