TAKE ME BACK TO THAT SAD DAY IN 1977...
I was lucky enough to be one of those that found my vinyl pressing to actually be BLUE ! From 1977-2008,I only had the vinyl.Now I happily have RCA's fantastic remastering and a whole 'nother Elvis album to boot! I've listened to this CD over and over again since receiving it...what a pleasure. It does bring up those old memories though...of all of us being in disbelief that he was gone, the completely bare shelves in every record store for weeks afterward, the funeral, the white hearse and white Cadillacs...but the music LIVES !!!

Excellant and Awesome
I ordered this album and have enjoyed listening to it over and over, cranked up the volume. Love the remastering with the bonus album but I do miss "Let Me Be There" from the original. Love this album overall!

Not to be Missed
Although an Elvis fan in his earlier career, I did not follow him at the end of his career. That was a mistake. This album is as good as his best. "Unchained Melody" may be his best song ever; sometimes I will turn up the volume and play it five times in a row. There are 19 songs on this CD, many of which are excellent e.g. Hurt, Moody Blue, Solitaire. Buy it!
