This CD is a timeless classic. You will be filled with Christmas cheer and long to be in that log cabin next to the fire. An excellent mix of songs with a fantastic naration on the last track. Wonderful.

This Perry Como christmas album, from 1959, is possibly the best crooner christmas album there is, better than his others although they are great also. Only Johnny Mathis's MERRY CHRISTMAS album and Jack Jones's WHITE CHRISTMAS (original title, I think, was JACK JONES CHRISTMAS ALBUM) would give this Perry Como a run for it's money. But one thing is for sure, Perry Como is my favorite singer and although others come close, Perry edges them all out. Perry Como has the perfect christmas voice, so relaxed and casual (the way we should be at christmas) that this album is just a perfect christmas album. Excellent songs such as THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME (FOR THE HOLIDAYS), WINTER WONDERLAND, RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN, and every other one. Not a weak song anywhere. If you want some music to get you in the mood for christmas, or if already in the mood and you want to enjoy it further, then get this Perry Como christmas cd and it'll create an atmosphere of christmas quite possibly like no other. Possibly the best christmas album ever.

My family has been putting this christmas album on every christmas morning since we were kids in the 1960's. It's still everyone's favorite after all these years. Our kids are now passing it down to their kids. It's a great family tradition. TIMELESS!!

Wonderful! Awe-inspiring!! This is among the best of Christmas music along with the very best-told story ever, as narrated by my all-time favorite crooner. One can well imagine the hillsides, the donkey and the manger, as Perry weaves his magic over his listeners. My granddaughter is at the age this year to fully appreciate the magic of the true Christmas story. When I came upon her listening intently to Perry's voice, she informed me with wonder and awe: "This is the Story of Christmas!"

Popular songs are often associated with the vocalists that made them famous but few artists actually have the distinction of having a "theme" song along the lines of Bob Hope with "Thanks for the Memories."
