It's About Time album for sale Product Description
It's About Time album for sale by Swv was released Oct 27, 1992 on the RCA label. SWV (Sisters With Voices) were nominated for a 1994 Grammy Award as "Best New Artist." SWV (Sisters With Voices) electrified the urban contemporary world with It's About Time. Their deep, sensual harmonies, sometimes naughty lyrics and aggressive style immediately struck a responsive chord, particularly among male fans It's About Time CD music. Their CD shows their versatility, as they handled New Jack tunes, romantic ballads like "It's About Time," and sassy, innuendo-laden fare such as "Blak Pudd'n" and "That's What I Need." Their hits "Weak" and "Right Here" had the same blend of heat and vulnerability that underscore the best En Vogue material, and even though this CD was padded by remixes and repeats, it was still among the finest debuts issued in 1992. ...See Full Description

| This IS The First Piece Of Music I Ever Bought I bought "it's about time" when i was 7, i saved up my allowance and took a trip to the mall and bought it. Why people may ask??, because they had me "Weak". Besides the fact that this songs is still played on Urban Radio today. and pushed the album to a US Double Platinum Status. Thats not the only hit they gained from this disc. During 1992 "New Jack Swing" was a fast developed genre. there were many artists like H-town, Guy, Jade and so forth. but SWV stood out to me the most. My fav tracks are "Right Here", "Anything", Downtown", "hats What I Need", It's About Time", Think Your Gonna Like" By SWV FANATIK (On, Canada) |
| 15 years later, it's still good I was only two years old when this cd came out and it's still good. "Weak" & "Your Always on My Mind" are my favorites. I Love You Coko, I love you Taj. And everyone lets pray for my sister Lelee. Let's encurage her and uplift her. By hockn5 (ft.worth,tx) |

| PURE 90'S MUSIC!!! As I sat down and listened to this album the whole 90’s vibe just took me back. When "It's About Time" was released I was 7 yrs. old, now I'm 22 and boy has music changed! I am currently going back and buying a bunch of albums from the 90’s that I had and also wanted to get but never did. I grew up on SWV, TLC, Brandy, Dru Hill, Jodeci, Boyz II Men, REAL ARTIST'S!!! The 90's was full of REAL MUSIC, sadly unlike a lot of what's out here today. Hopefully music will get back to having substance to it. By Dustin (Philly, Pa) |
| The Best! SWV was without a doubt the best female group of the 90's. Period. You can just about forget all the rest, except Xscape...a close second. I absolutely loved these girls. This debut CD is arguably still their best work. Listening to these songs bring back such good memories. I also remember that they had one hit after another on this album to the point of keeping this album hot for like 2 years! Weak, You're Always on my Mind, Thats What I Need, and the list goes on and on. You must get all 3 original SWV CDs, not their greatest hits collection because they aren't complete.
