Cooke 5*, Compilation 4*
Sam Cooke as an artist deserves ten stars for being one of the greatest voices in pop music; however, this compilation comes up short in one important way: Sam's final top ten hit, Shake, from 1964, isn't here.

Olde, but Goode
This particular CD is for those people young an old who appreciate music in its original form. There are no additives or preservatives, just the vocals of the the singer and the notes from the instruments.

This is a great CD.
It was hard for me to find a CD by Sam Cooke at the music store. It was a nice surprise to find the greatest hits on one CD.
