Where else would you find "Morning Girl" by the Neon Philharmonic?
Knowing that EVERYONE has the single version of "Hang on Sloopy" by the McCoys, this CD gives you the longer album cut, something I really appreciated.
Some tracks are on many compilations and if you're one that buys these, they are a deterrent from buying this one, as you already have other copies of these.
However, I am glad for "Angel Of The Morning" by Merrilee Rush and The Turnabouts, "Love (Can Make You Happy)" by Mercy, "Cinnamon" by Derek and "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" by The Casinos.
These, couples with the price from CD Universe makes this a no-brainer. It is truly a fine collection (mostly) thoughtfully chosen and put together with great care.

The second installment of the Hard to Find 45's series is, like the first, a wide assortment of Top 40 hits, some of them indeed very hard to find on CD or even hear on the radio. Some of them are not really that hard to find on CD, though this disc (like every one in this series) takes pains to present original 45 RPM single versions, often in stereo. Whereas the first volume was devoted to material from 1955-1960, this goes into the next era (1961-1964), and though it's pretty pop-inclined, there's a good deal of diversity. With the album out of print for decades and much demand from a loyal cult following of fans, Wounded Bird had the good sense to reissue this unsung masterpiece of '80s arena rock (the band had a lengthy stint on the road supporting such powerhouse acts as AC/DC and Kiss).
