Headquarters album for sale Product Description
Headquarters album for sale by Monkees was released Aug 06, 1996 on the Sundazed label. Douglas' "Forget That Girl" features one of Micky Dolenz's best vocals, and Dolenz's own "Randy Scouse Git" is an impressionistic, trippy delight. Headquarters songs Perhaps the album's best track is the Davy Jones lead "Early Morning Blues and Greens," a moody slice of atmospheric pop. | REDISCOVERING AMERICA Headquarters buy CD music I remembered The Monkees by their brilliant TV Show (I was 8 when it was first aired in my country and love it) and their best known hits but never didn't care of their albums. By Stonedeluxe (Caracas, Venezuela.) |
The true Monkees Headquarters songs Recorded in late-night sessions while filming their TV show, the Monkees took control of their music, playing most of the instruments and contributing many of the album's finest songs - though not all, as the prior reviewer indicated. By Stuporfly (New York)
best Headquarters album for sale This is the best album they ever released and the only one where they played all their own instraments on every song and wrote all the songs, essential if you're a monkees fan. By jason (CO, USA)
The Monkees As A Garage-Rock Band This album was recorded in the early 1967 (the group was on a brief break from filming the television show) and shows that the band was a passable garage band. By jimandtambailey (Missouri)
Another Monkees hit for Rhino Another excellent job by Rhino for the Monkees. The sound is superb, and the remixed bonus tracks are fantastic. It's especially nice to have the complete version of "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You" - handclaps and all - in true stereo for the first time. By Steve (Manassas, VA USA) This review is for a different format.
