Product Description
Also available in a 3-pack with ARIA and ARENA on Snapper Music (6101). Asia hadn't released an album of new music since 1985, so changes were to be expected. But changes for the better -- well, that was a pleasant surprise. Aqua found the band infused with new energy, represented by a younger generation of arena rockers in bassist/vocalist John Payne and guitarist Al Pitrelli. ...See Full Description

Outstanding reissue Please disregard my other review. CDU has told me they would remove it, but they have not. The disc I received was promptly replaced with the advertised product. This is another outstanding Asia reissue from Inside Out. Eveything from the included bonus tracks, to the artwork to the package design is first class. I highly recommend picking up all of their Asia remasters. By Galley (Greenville, SC, USA) This review is for a different format.
There are no bonus tracks 15 - 16! I don't know what to think of this disc. It comes in a slipcase that lists bonus tracks 15 and 16, published by InsideOut records. The inlay card shows only the "Little Rich Boy" track that didn't appear on the U.S. version, and it's published by Musidisc U.K. The actual disc is published by Snapper Classics. The disc does contain the studio version of "Little Rich Boy" and "Obsession", but not tracks 15 and 16. The booklet is the EXACT same one that was issued in the original 1992 U.S. version. To top it all off, the two "Aqua" tracks are listed as "Aqua Part One" and "Aqua Part Two" on the slipcase, "Aqua Part 1" and "Aqua Part 2" on the inlay card and "Aqua I" and "Aqua II" in the booklet. Only the last method is acceptable. This is the shoddiest repacking job I have ever seen. By Galley (Greenville, SC) This review is for a different format.
New voice, same result - a great album Admittedly, it took me a while to get into the “new” ASIA. Personally it takes me a few spins on the turntable (or now of the cd player) to get used to a new lead singer of an established band. That said, this IS a great, great album. Aqua is stuffed full of great songs, from the opening instrumental “Aqua, pt. 1” and it’s lead to song “Who Will Stop The Rain?”. Other songs like “Someday” and “Back In Town” show a slightly harder edge, while slower songs like “Crime Of The Heart” (one of Aqua’s best tracks) and “Heaven On Earth” show off Asia’s new singers great voice. John Payne is fantastic in his debut, and it is also nice to hear Steve Howe on a few of the tracks. This re-issue contains the bonus track “Obsession” and the song “Little Rich Boy”, both previously unavailable on the US version. Hard to see why, both are great songs. Aqua is a must have for any ASIA fan. By ews1701e (Fridley, MN, ,USA) This review is for a different format.
