Discovering The Blues album for sale by Robben Ford was released Apr 15, 1997 on the Rhino label. Digitally remastered by Alan Yoshida (A&M Mastering, Hollywood, California). Discovering the Blues is culled from a series of concerts Robben Ford gave in the early '70s at Huntington Beach's Golden Bear and Ash Grove in Hollywood. At the time, Ford was just beginning his career, and his style wasn't nearly as accomplished as it would later be. Instead, he simply burns, tearing through blues classics with a passion and vigor -- there is a joy of discovery in his playing which makes the music nearly transcendent, even with its flaws.   ...See Full Description

the best white-young-deep-blues-feeling
De los guitarristas blancos de Blues destacan: Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton, Roy Buchanan, Peter Green, SRV, Robin Trower, Gary Moore, Mike Bloomfield y por supuesto Robben Ford, este ultimo con menos reconocimiento que los anteriores, pero con un sentimiento blusero unico, ademas de tener una excelente voz, toca el sax de manera extraordinaria.
