Deep Purple fuzz
The SACD is much better as it is the original 4-ch quadraphonic mix, not a sludgy rework of 2-ch masters.

Fantastic!
Deep Purple - Machine Head film This classic album never sounded better! I'm speaking of the stereo mix, I don't have a surround setup. The sound quality is like night and day compared to compact disc.

Going Deep!
Of course being the most Pop DP album, this one will always shine brightest. The DVD-A version of this collection is mastered to absolute perfection.

Disappointing
Deep Purple - Machine Head review The 5.1 mix is a real disappointment. It sounds muddy and the 5.1 mix is mediocre. The SACD version is far, far better with a much superior 5.1 mix and sound that is better in every area. Was someone paid to create the DVD-Audio version?
