| | Neil Young Sleeps With Angels CDs (1994)
80's Club Classics CD music
$8.69 SLEEPS WITH ANGELS was nominated for a 1995 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
Judging by the regard with which Neil Young is embraced by contemporary bands, it's clear that this rocker retained his youthful crankiness and experimental verve--willfully oblivious to popular fashions. Like John Mellencamp's DANCE NAKED, Young's SLEEPS WITH ANGELS has the mythic feel and smell of vintage, crawl-under-the-car and change-the-oil ...
| | Deep Purple Machine Head CDs (1972) Remastered; Deluxe Edition
80's Club Classics music CDs
$10.69 This package contains the original MACHINE HEAD plus quadrophonic mixes of 2 songs on one disc, MACHINE HEAD remixed by Roger Glover in 1998, and a 28 page booklet.
A probable contender for one of hard rock's "all-time most influential albums," Deep Purple's MACHINE HEAD has all the markings of a heavy classic. It was here that the band's combination of amped-up blues, progressive instrumental prowess, screaming guitars, and thunderous rhythms was crystallized for the ages, helping to lay the foundation for hard rock and heavy metal throughout the '70s, ...

80's Club Classics album
$7.49 Up beat style in clean and clear voice was how singer songwriter Shelley Lynch was described on her first album “Walk through Life” in 1996. This style is still heard in her newest album “Dream Big” that explodes with lyrics as honest and personal as life can get about herself and experiences most people share.Shelley, a proud Canadian girl from the small town of Fernie, BC has poured her heart and soul into this new album making a deep connection from a growth process that started in childhood and continues on to the present, always dreaming big throughout her life to make her musical dream come true. “Young and foolish, I’ve been through it all”, she croons in the title tune. Adding in the second selection “Life can get you down, but you can still smile. If you look back what you see may just hurt you. Plowin and cryin till the cows come home, now and then crying plowin and cryin songs”. Lynch, an attractive blonde, was born in Fernie, fifth of six children born to longtime residents Frank and Mary Lynch. A business-orientated family with strong faith and a strong love of music, a corner of the living room could always be found holding drums, guitar and organ ready for the family to entertain or sing together.By age ten Shelley was playing guitar with older sister Kim. At 12 she had written her first song entitled “Spring.” She performed an original song in high school winning top prize against teacher contestants. This served to give confidence to perform at other functions. Shelley loves to write. Songs come to her spontaneously and get written in minutes. She wrote songs for her first album picked for distribution by RDR Music in Toronto that saw some success but real triumph was seen overseas when the album reached number one on charts in Denmark, Holland, Sweden and other European countries.Amazingly January 1998 had her song “Walk Through Life” at number four on the charts in Holland while Shania Twain’s tune “Man, I feel like a Woman”, was number ten. Getting notice three of the top six songs in Denmark and Holland were hers was unbelievabably exciting causing dreams and ideas that had her head spinning. One dream realized was attending the Canadian Country Music Awards held in Calgary where she met famous stars. Another was performing live on Cable and on the Nashville North stage during Stampede Week in Calgary, getting great reviews by the local press. People celebrated her success and predicted a bright future. Without a record label to market her music Shelley took an independent leap producing CDs under her own label Lynch Records. Les Bolen of Lizard Mountain Music in Jaffray produced, mixed and engineered the selections. Shelley and Bolen work well together and he knows the sound she wants to achieve.Being independent is difficult but if successful then it’s easier to attract a label. ...
| | Erin Barra Soul Revolutions CD (2007)
80's Club Classics CD music
$13.89 Erin Barra is the definition of a true artist. Misplaced in an industry that is treading water in a sea of mediocrity and image, Barra is bringing it back to the music. As the musical black sheep in a family of Scientists, Erin went from practicing piano in pull-ups to serenading rapt audiences on the main stage as a unique and formidable artist-songwriter. After attending The Berklee College of Music in Boston where she received her Bachelors Degree in Songwriting, Erin has had the opportunity to write and work with ...
