| | Amazing Rhythm Aces Stacked Deck/Too Stuffed To Jump CD Amazing Rhythm Aces Discography of CDs
(5 Customer Reviews)
Recorded in 1975 & 1976. Originally released on ABC (LP 913/LP 940).
The group's first two LPs assembled together on one CD from Collectors' Choice -- there are no notes, but the original artwork is recreated with full music credits, and beautiful, state-of-the-art sound. The band's music has aged well, and although their master tapes evidently no longer reside with the ABC library (which is part of MCA-Universal), they haven't been lost track of either, to judge from the good results here. ~ Bruce Eder

Amazing Rhythm Aces Stacked Deck/Too Stuffed To Jump Songs Stacked Deck/Too Stuffed To Jump Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) amazing music Two cd for the price of one, cool. I wore the grooves off the Stacked Deck album. the song "amazing grace" is worth the price alone. I suggest you fill your multiple cd changer with the Aces, some Poco, a little Mason Proffit and some Goose Creek Symphony, pop-a-top of your favorite beverage and enjoy the music. I'm already there. "Always Amazing" This cd is the Amazing Rhythm Aces first 2 outings and they're excellent from the git go. Of course the first track is their first hit "Third Rate Romance", the original not Sammy Kershaw. I wanted to get that straight first thing up.
After the first track the rest are all award winning songs in my book. Not a loser in the whole bunch. Run out(if you haven't heard them) and start with this cd. Guaranteed no regrets. Enjoy. Submitted by George (Okieland, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Finding Rusty... This was one of THE best bands back in the days, due to bad management and lack of record company support on how to "LABEL" their music......demise of the band.
Let's try to bring them back and hit the "Re-union Tour" cycle that everyone else seems to be enjoying with grandchildren.
Anyone know how to pry Russell Smith back to the studio? Submitted by Giannina (Huntsville, AL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
