Bucktown In The 90's album for sale by Frank French was released May 09, 1996 on the Stomp Off label. Frank French and Scott Kirby perform piano duets throughout this joyous and entertaining set. Bucktown In The 90's buy CD music The music ranges from rags to Jelly Roll Morton and early classic jazz, all rearranged for the two pianists. Bucktown In The 90's songs French contributed two originals; Kirby brought in "Ravenna"; and other selections included Tom Turpin's "St. Louis Rag," James Scott's "Broadway Rag," four numbers co-written by Scott Joplin, Artie Matthews' "Pastime Rag No.5," and Jelly Roll Morton's "Mister Joe." Although having two pianos can result in overcrowded ensembles, French and Kirby leave plenty of room for each other and the results are very much a collaboration.
