Raimi And Campbell: Can You Never Go Wrong With That... I'm an Evil Dead Trilogy fan, and this was the first movie I've watched in the trilogy. I think it's the worse one in the trilogy, but it's great mix between horror and comedy, it's still a masterpiece. The edition itself is THX Mastered, so I don't have to tell you how awesome the sound and image are. Extras are also suberb. Making-of, commentaries, trailers, bios, photos and much more. So, why not buy it? A great movie with great sound and image plus great extras. It's awesome, go ahaed and buy it. Just remember: if you buy this, get The Evil Dead: Book of the Dead Edition and Army of Darkness: Boomstick Edition, to complete the trilogy buying it's best editions. I'm a collector, I know what I'm saying! Go ahaed and buy this movie, it's "groovy"! Submitted by HoRRoR_MaNIaC (Brazil) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo 1 of 1 found this helpful.
GREAT AS EXPECTED Just as part one, very funny especially if you like slapstick and over-acting. Recommendation for every nostalgic horror-movie fan Submitted by a reviewer (Amsterdam, Netherlands) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
Don't miss this one... I assume your a horror fan if you're reading this. If you haven't seen Evil Dead II, you are severely missing out. This film is low budget and hilarious. Get this one if you haven't seen it. Fun to watch and rather violent with a large gore factor. Submitted by a reviewer (film land) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

$14.79 Director Sam Raimi's first film has achieved legendary status since its 1982 release, and for good reason. Though perhaps not as widely seen as its two sequels, EVIL DEAD 2 and ARMY OF DARKNESS, THE EVIL DEAD is arguably the best of the three. It is the story of five college-age friends who travel to a cabin in rural Tennessee where the stumble upon the Book of the Dead, an ancient tome bound in human flesh and inked in blood. After unwittingly awakening the unspeakable terror told of in the book, each of the friends is transformed into the evil dead, one by one, except for Ash (Bruce Campbell). So, Ash is left with no other way to survive than to dismember the living corpses of his sister, girlfriend, and two of his friends. Shot on a shoestring budget, ...

$11.19 CHILDREN OF MEN is not a popcorn movie. With its almost relentlessly bleak perspective on the future, Alfonso Cuarón's film doesn't make for pleasant viewing. But it's an exhilarating experience because the picture is an amazing dystopian drama that lacks all the typical trappings of the genre. Set uncomfortably close to the present, it paints a frighteningly realistic picture of the future. In 2027, every woman on earth is infertile. With the loss of the ability to have children, the world has also lost hope. Clive Owen (CLOSER) plays Theo, an Englishman attempting to make a life in a hellish world. His estranged wife (Julianne Moore) convinces him to help transport a young woman to safety. When Theo learns that the woman is pregnant, their journey ...
