A SECOND CLASSIC
This was the album that would had made him a SUPERSTAR, but we all know what happened, if it wasn't for his death this album would had put him in a place, where no rapper could had ever touch him, and that means no Jay Z, Nas, or whoever else, alot of rapper benefitted from his death and you all know who they are.

Life After Death songs Samples include "Computer Love" (as performed by Zapp), "A Dream" (E. Jordan), "Winter Sadness" (as performed by Kool & The Gang), and "Friends" (as performed by Whodini). "Changes" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. Though posthumous albums are often only a record company's vision of how to make more money, 2PAC's GREATEST HITS is just what it promises; a collection of all his hottest tracks, chart toppers, and street jams. Tracks from his time spent on both Interscope Records and Death Row Records are included, as are three previously unreleased tracks, "Unconditional Love," "God Bless the Dead" and "Troublesome '96." Among the numerous hits from 2PAC on this generous two-CD set are "Brenda's Got a Baby"; "Keep Your Head Up"; "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted," featuring Snoop Dogg; and "How Do You Want It," featuring K-Ci & JoJo. Among the other standouts are "I Get Around," featuring Digital Underground; "California Love," featuring Dr. Dre; and "Dear Mama." 2PAC's GREATEST HITS leaves you with the sad feeling that one of the world's greatest performers left the planet way too early. Personnel includes: 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Dru Down, Top Dogg, Syke, CPO, The Outlawz (rap vocals); Val Young, Nate Dogg, The Black Angel, Danny Boy, K-Ci & JoJo, Dave, Roniece, Roger Troutman (vocals); Eric "Kenya" Baker (guitar); The Piano Man (keyboards); Puff Johnson, Thug Life, Digital Underground, Stretch, Stacey Smallie, Shock-G ...

Life After Death buy CD music This is an Enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files including the video for "California Love." ALL EYEZ ON ME was nominated for a 1997 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "California Love," featuring Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman, and "How Do U Want It," featuring KC and JoJo, were both nominated for the 1997 Grammy for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group. This is an enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. The first double-CD of original material by a rap artist, ALL EYEZ ON ME marks 2Pac's return from incarceration to the recording grind. And though Tupac Shakur may have spent the better part of 1995 locked up and battling the system, the album makes it obvious that, rather than degenerating his artistic abilities, the struggles have only elevated his skills. Now, with the backing of West Coast hip-hop's first family, Death Row Records, 2Pac gathers together many of the rap ruling class to celebrate his comeback and give the finger to those who've scrutinized his music and aggravated his existence. While California has always been his base of operations (he began his career as a member of Oakland's Digital Underground), 2Pac is one of the few '90s rappers to earn props on both coasts. ALL EYEZ ON ME reciprocates the respect by toasting the west ("California Love," a duet with Dr. Dre), the east ("Got My Mind Made Up" features NYC strong-men, Redman and Method Man), and the old-school funkateers (George Clinton shows up on "Can't C Me"). The consistently fierce production by a diverse army of beat-fiends keeps the album pumping, seemingly diverting the mainstream consumers' attention away from the rapper's volatile stance. But 2Pac does not shy away from speaking his mind; he's simply learning which confrontations are truly worth it ("Only God Can Judge Me"). Because peace is that much harder to find when so many eyez are on ya. All tracks have been digitally remastered. Recorded at Can-Am Studios, Tarzana, California. Personnel: 2Pac, Syke, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Dru Down, Dat Nigga Daz, Kurupt, Redman, Method Man, Rappin' 4-Tay, Dramacydal, C-Bo, Storm, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Danny Boy, George Clinton, Outlaw Immortalz, Jewell, CPO, Michel'le, KC, JoJo, Mutah, E-40, B-Legit, Richie Rich (vocals); Roger Troutman, David Blake (talkbox); Sean "Barney Rubble" Thomas (keyboards); Carl "Butch" Small (percussion); Barbara Wilson, Danette Williams, Dorothy Coleman, Natasha Walker, Puff Johnson, Ebony (background vocals). Life After Death CD music R U STILL DOWN? (REMEMBER ME) contains rare and previously unreleased songs from Tupac's personal vault. Even after Tupac Shakur was tragically gunned down in Las Vegas, his legacy continued to live on through his music. In addition to the 2pac albums we all love and have become familiar with, there are posthumous testaments to his talent like R U STILL DOWN, which contains songs that were unreleased at the time of his death. Having left a large body of work behind, 2Pac continues to voice his opinion and is still among the most powerful rappers, even after his untimely passing. The first release on his own Amaru Records, R U STILL DOWN? [REMEMBER ME] was overseen by 2Pac's mother, Afeni Shakur. This album features a younger, more inexperienced 2Pac, and it airs his views on life from a time before he became involved in the controversial east coast/west coast rivalry. His lyrics ironically foreshadow his death in songs like "Open Fire" and "Thug Style." Yet another look at the slain rapper, R U STILL DOWN? [REMEMBER ME] gives fans more of 2Pac to remember him by. Includes liner notes by Afeni Shakur. Personnel includes: Tupac Shakur, Val Young, Y.N.V., Richie Rich, Big Syke, Spice 1, Eric Williams, Dramacydal, Dave The Black Angel, Cool Russell, Maxee (vocals); Soulshock, Karlin (various instruments); Ricky Rouse (guitar, keyboards, bass); Darrell Crooks (guitar); Mike Mosley (keyboards, drum programming); Brycyn Evans (keyboards); Tommy "D" Daugherty, Michael Denton (programming); Crystall (background vocals). Life After Death buy CD music Puff Daddy was nominated for the 1998 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. NO WAY OUT won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "I'll Be Missing You" won and "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" was nominated for the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group. As in the case of Teddy Riley or Dr. Dre, it is not unlikely for a producer-extraordinaire to step to the forefront as an artist. With the release of NO WAY OUT, Sean "Puffy" Combs adds to an extensive musical resume. From hip-hop dancer to hit-making producer to CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment to recording artist, Puff Daddy has proven to be a man of many talents. Puffy's debut as an entertainer showcases both hardcore ("It's All About The Benjamins Remix") and mainstream ("Do You Know?") hip-hop songs. As a producer, Puff Daddy is the master when it comes to sampling old records and turning them into new hits, as he does with his tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. on "I'll Be Missing You," which incorporates the music from The Police's "Every Breath You Take." Other songs give Puffy a chance to test his own rap skills, like "Is This The End?" which matches him up with the world's fastest rapper, Twista. Recorded at Caribbean Sound Basin, Trinidad, West Indies; D.A.R.P. Studios, Atlanta, Georgia; Daddy's House Recording Studios and The Hit Factory, New York, New York. Life After Death songs Where would Christopher Wallace/Biggie Smallz/Notorious B.I.G. be today had the rap wars not claimed the large (both livin' and size) rapper? It's the eternal James Dean question--how much of the myth comes from the tragedy and how much of the tragedy comes from the myth. These questions can never be answered to any satisfaction, though it's only fair to recall that Biggie had sold millions of records and seen the top of Billboard's album and pop singles charts long before he went out bigger than his life. On BORN AGAIN, the whole rap world turns out to pay tribute at this latest reverent, raucous wake. Biggie still eerily fills the center of this rap universe with Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, and other luminaries from both coasts and various camps filling in the rhymes around him. Tracks like the Duran Duran-sampled "Notorious B.I.G." and "Dead Wrong" are perfect showcases for Biggie's patented lumbering and relaxed baritone flow. BORN AGAIN proves not whether the man would stand atop the hip-hop hierarchy had he lived, but reveals the amount of love felt for the Notorious B.I.G. and reminds us of what he was capable if only...
