When Snoop Dogg announced that he was leaving Death Row Records, many wondered why he would abandon one of the most successful hip-hop record labels in the business. Quickly announcing that his third album would be put out on none other than the Master P-owned label No Limit, it was obvious why he would make that decision. As a No Limit soldier, Snoop takes his West Coast flavor to the dirty South combining the two sounds for DA GAME IS TO BE SOLD, NOT TO BE TOLD.
Always an OG, Snoop Dogg collaborates with No Limit artists (C-Murder, Mystikal, Mia X and Silkk The Shocker, etc.) on many of the tracks. His flow and lyrical content aren't much different from his first two albums, and the production is still tight. Not quite the groundbreaker that DOGGYSTYLE was, but still a top quality rap album.

It took me a little while to adjust to this cd when i heard it when it first came out i wasnt really feeling it but d@mn it grew on me it has some of the best after doggystyle snoop song that he has put out. That song "woof" and "snoop world are tight and two of my favs on the album. I never really thought snoop and no limit were an ecellent match but this and the top dogg where two of snoops most complete cds in my mind.

One best albums very underated one of his top 3 in my opinion. If it wasn't for P screamin and yellin in some of the songs I would have gave it 5.

Snoop Dogg is the best rap artist to really release his first record album "Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told". I said to myself he been putting No Limit doggy style on the map. This album is better than Doggystyle, and Tha Doggfather from Suge Knight's Death Row Records. Suge Knight you are nothing but a sell out and a wimp, that's why Snoop trashed you out of your place being as a producer. Snoop is rolling with Master P, a big dog of the South! Whodi
Snoop Dogg did the right move when he jump to No Limit Records with Master P and I enjoy Snoop being with his new No Limit family, don't get me wrong Suge. See what you have done man, huh You trying to get Snoop killed out on these streets I don't know what in the hell have gotten into you. As the same thing to Kurupt you're welcome to the No Limit Camp with Snoop, you and your brother Kurupt can make smashing hits off the Billboard charts on No Limit Records. As well as Suge Knight is nothing but an animal in the cage in the jungle.

I JUST LISTENED TO THIS ALBUM & I HEARD BACK WHEN IT CAME OUT BUT IT SOUNDS BETTER NOW FOR SOME REASON BUT THE BEST SONGS ARE GAME OF LIFE" SNOOP WORLD" DONT LET GO" & A FEW MORE TRACKS. BUT PEOPLE ARE SAYING THIS ALBUMS SUCKED BUT THEY MUST BE CRAZY OR CANT HEAR TOO GOOD. I DIDNT LIKE WHEN HE JOINED NO LIMIT THOUGH.
