Dr. Dre 2001 CD (1999) Top Seller
No Limit Top Dogg buy CD music "Guilty Conscience" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By Duo Or Group.
"Forgot About Dre" won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group. DR. DRE 2001 was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "The Next Episode" was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
"Still D.R.E." was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
With 2001, Dr. Dre has managed to do the seemingly impossible: resurface yet again after a five-year disappearance from the rap game, and shatter all expectations. The first two tracks lull the listener into thinking this is going to be a mellow, G-funk outing, but when the piano loop and beat commence in "Still D.R.E.," it's obvious Dre is still light years ahead of the rest. The seemingly disparate styles of guest artists MC Ren, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem are all unified by Dre's singular musical vision.
What makes this record stand out from any other gangsta rap recording before it, however, are the flashes of brutal honesty that pepper the lyrics ("What's the Difference"). Something about Dre's persona and delivery softens his often misogynistic, violent lyrical content. It's as if the audience understands he's only posturing and knows that, deep down, he is a dedicated family man (something he proudly admits). Other standouts on this highly impressive return to the spotlight include "F*** You," "Big Ego's," and the self-explanatory "Still D.R.E."

Eminem Slim Shady LP CDs (1999) Top Seller
No Limit Top Dogg album for sale THE SLIM SHADY LP won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "My Name Is" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance.
You'll need a well-developed sense of humor to fully appreciate the debut of Eminem aka Slim Shady. Produced by hip-hop super-producer Dr. Dre and released on Dre's Aftermath Records, the album features an infectious lead single, "My Name Is," a winning mixture of alternative rock and rap. One listen will have you hooked on the chorus, but future plays will reveal the lyrical gymnastics that Eminem kicks out so effortlessly.
Obsessed with fantasies of sex, violence, drugs, and a general depraved indifference to life itself, Eminem's alter ego, Slim Shady, is constantly involved in a battle of good vs. evil leavened by a high degree of irony. Dre even drops in on an mind-blowing cameo playing the shoulder angel on "Guilty Conscience" to Eminem's devil. You'll need a few listens to absorb everything that Eminem is about lyrically. SLIM SHADY might offend the faint-hearted, but that's probably Eminem's intention.

Ruff Ryders Ryde or Die, Vol. 1 CD (1999) Top Seller
No Limit Top Dogg CD music There are some can't-miss tracks from DMX ("Bug Out," "Some X Shit"), Jay-Z ("Jigga My Nigga"), and Jadakiss from the Lox ("Kiss of Death"). RYDE OR DIE VOL. 1 is what a compilation album should be. In addition, there's the smooth R&B cut "I'm a Ruff Ryder," featuring Parle and producer Dave Hall. Another highlight is "The Hood", a major thug posse cut featuring Drag-On, Beanie Siegal, Mysonne, Inf Red, NuChild, and Jadakiss.
Dmx,Drag On,The Lox,Eve,Jay Z, Parle,Juvenile,Sheik & Big Pun
Known for his blazing tracks on records for Jay-Z and DMX, producer Swizz Beatz assembled a group of new tracks that features such hip-hop all-stars as the Lox, Big Pun, Juvenile, and the aforementioned Jay-Z and DMX. RYDE OR DIE VOL. 1 is jam-packed with energy and hot-to-death beats. There are several outstanding cuts. "Down Bottom" has Juvenile dropping his trademark Southern-style rhymes over Swizz beat, while "Platinum Plus" features Jermaine Dupri, Mase, and Cross. The title cut is a killer with the Lox, DMX, Drag-On, and Eve flippin' over the classic EPMD cut "Headbanger."

Snoop Dogg / Tha Eastsidaz Tha Eastsidaz CD (2000) Top Seller
No Limit Top Dogg buy CD music Additional personnel includes: Dr. Dre, Xzibit, Kurrupt, Battle Cat, Bad Azz, Jayo Felony, Rappin' 4-Tay, Nate Dogg, Warren G., CPO, Pinky, Suga Free, Bugsy Seigal, Butch Cassidy, Pretty Tony, Kokane, Kam (vocals); Doggy's Angels (various instruments).
Though Tha Eastsidaz are a debut rap group, the fact the Snoop Dogg is a member goes a long way to help make the group's introduction to the music industry a smooth affair. With the help of fellow Long Beach rapper Tray Deee and newcomer Goldie Loc, Tha Eastsidaz remain faithful to the West Coast-flavored G'd-up hip-hop that first put Snoop on the map. On SNOOP DOGG PRESENTS THA EASTSIDAZ, the three MCs trade verses of low-riding and (for lack of a better term) West-siding. Songs like "Be Thankful" and "Take It Back to '85" illustrate the trio's penchant for less typical subject matter and show impressive lyrical diversity. And guest appearances from some of the Left Coast's finest (i.e., Kurupt and Xzibit) make this effort a true reminder of what the West has in store. Throw it up.

Game Is to Be Sold Not to Be Told CD (1998)
No Limit Top Dogg songs When Snoop Dogg announced that he was leaving Death Row Records, many wondered why he would abandon one of the most successful hip-hop record labels in the business. Quickly announcing that his third album would be put out on none other than the Master P-owned label No Limit, it was obvious why he would make that decision. As a No Limit soldier, Snoop takes his West Coast flavor to the dirty South combining the two sounds for DA GAME IS TO BE SOLD, NOT TO BE TOLD.
Always an OG, Snoop Dogg collaborates with No Limit artists (C-Murder, Mystikal, Mia X and Silkk The Shocker, etc.) on many of the tracks. His flow and lyrical content aren't much different from his first two albums, and the production is still tight. Not quite the groundbreaker that DOGGYSTYLE was, but still a top quality rap album.
