| Choclair is back and like always pulls no punches lyrically
Ever since I first heard his music through seeing some of his videos back in early 2000 like the smooth as butter 'What it takes' I was hooked on his mellow sounding but aggresive rhyme styles backed by equally nice beats.Without a doubt he's one of my favorite solo rappers and in my opinion is every bit as good if not better than a lot of well known and respected American rap artists. On his album Ice cold he only continues to justify my opinion with a range of banging songs that are as entertaining and diverse lyrically as they are musically but without losing his hardcore edge. If youre a fan of Choclair or if youre just a fan of good quality underground style hip-hop and rap then this album wont dissapoint because it was certainly one of the better rap albums to come out in 2000 and to be honest its a lot better than a lot of new rap albums that are out there now especially when you consider all the materialistic and commercialized garbage thats currently flooding the market so take my advice buy Ice cold and while youre at it buy all of Choclair's albums if you dont already own them. Believe me youll be glad you did and thats my word. Peace !!!!!
