Revueltas el grande!
A superb production, most of which features performances culled from previously released albums. The Stokowski performance of 'Sensemaya' with his hand-picked New York musicians is quite revelatory, given that it was recorded by RCA in 1947, and released at the time on 78s. Revueltas is one of the most important composers of the 20th-century, and remains so in the 21st-century. This CD album reaffirms his genius.
