The original soundtrack to the critically acclaimed claymation hit Chicken Run is every bit as clever as the film itself, at once parodying and paying tribute to the dramatic, orchestral scores of films like The Great Escape and Stalag 17 (which are also paid tribute in the movie as well). From the martial, sweeping "Main Titles" to the climactic, victorious "Escape to Paradise," Chicken Run's soaring, symphonic pieces -- which were composed and arranged by John Powell and Harry Gregson-Willamson -- are an affectionate homage to the golden age of film music.
