Back On The Streets album for sale by 88 FINGERS LOUIE was released Sep 08, 1998 on the Hopeless label. Chicago pop-punksters 88 Fingers Louie emerged in the heyday of '90s West Coast pop-punk, but their sound was equally shaped by early, double-time hardcore like Minor Threat. This closely related multiplicity of influences is most apparent on the crisp, adrenalized 16 tracks that rip through their final full-length, BACK ON THE STREETS. "Start" and "Well Done" are emblematic examples of their invigoratingly rougher edges, while songs such as "Elmer's" concede to more galloping tempos and pogo-friendly melodies.
