A sharp run through the shining three-record catalog of superior AOR trio who brushed the big time. All Zebra albums possess a singular style, but careful assimilation makes In Black and White a consistent and rewarding listen. Hardcore fans (this band doesn't draw any other sort) receive demos and unreleased cuts. Plus, the remastering cleans the sound and production up quite nicely, further unifying the overall feel. Many great songs you've heard ("Who's Behind the Door?," "Bears"), and more you should have ("Hard Livin' Without You," "But No More"). The linear notes also glow with love and care. A sly gift for all those traditionalists who understandably believe good rock stopped rolling in 1980. ~ Doug Stone

i absolutely love zebra. they are great live i have seen them so many times and there is nothing like them or their music. it makes me think of happy times everytime i listen to it and they came right from my home town. i couldn't think of a better place to be from than from a place that produces such great music.

5 stars EVERYTHING FROM A TO ZEBRA!
PURE UNADULTERATED POWER POP! PERHAPS ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED TRIO'S SINCE TRIUMPH.I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY THESE GUYS DIDNT ENJOY THE COMMERCIAL SUCCESS OF SOME OF THE OTHER ROCK BANDS OF THE DECADE. THE SONGS ARE LIKE COTTON CANDY. HARD DRIVING YET COMMERCIAL ENOUGH FOR AIRPLAY. TRULY A SOUND INVESTMENT. I SUGGEST BURNING A BACK-UP COPY OF THIS DISC SINCE THE HEAVY ROTATION IT WILL UNDOUBTEDLY COMMAND WILL WEAR IT THIN. NOT A BUM TRACK ON THE CD. UNIQUE FALSETTO LEAD VOCALS DOVETAIL FLAWLESSLY WITH A THUNDEROUS DRUM AND BASS SECTION. I'D GIVE THIS ALBUM 6 STARS IF THERE WERE 6 TO GIVE. *****
