Greatest Hits Of The 60's, Vol. 5 album for sale was released Jul 18, 2000 on the Platinum Disc label. Platinum Disc's Greatest Hits of the 60's, Volume 5 is a too-brief collection of hits from the '60s from a wide range of styles like sunshine pop, AM radio pop, soul, frat rock and novelty. The best of the songs are among the best of the era including Cannibal & the Headhunters' "Land of 1000 Dances," Gene Chandler's "Duke of Earl" and Gogi Grant's "The Wayward Wind." Unfortunately at only ten tracks the disc is too short to be a definitive collection and hard to recommend to anyone because there are so many collections that do a better job of presenting the hits of the '60s.
