| | Jimmy "T99" Nelson Cry Hard Luck: The RPM & Kent Recordings 1951-61 CD (2003) (Import) United Kingdom
Never Met A Woman I Didn't Like album
$16.95 Jimmy now brings you this first ever CD anthology of his earliest sessions. The songs that made him famous "T99 Blues" and "Meet Me With Your Black Dress On", not to mention 21 more that have been extremely hard to find until now. Jimmy's big booming voice in his prime belting out the tunes he wrote. These are some real authentic 50's Texas Blues with the great "Peter Rabbit Trio", and the "Maxwell Davis Band". This collection is a must have for anyone who enjoys horn drenched swinging Texas blues!
Indisputably the best Jimmy Nelson compilation, Cry Hard Luck: The RPM And Kent Recordings 1951-61 collects every darned last thing he did for the RPM/Kent/Modern stable of labels in his early career. The 23 tracks, all from 1952-1954 except for four songs cut in 1960, include not just RPM and Kent singles, but also a bunch of outtakes and alternates, some of which didn't surface until the 1980s, a couple of which appear for the first time here. (There's also a previously unissued extended version of his 1952 single "Baby Child.") While Nelson lacked a voice or material as top-notch as those of the best early-'50s R&B singers, this ...

| | Stagger Lee Hillbilly Heroin CD (2005)
Never Met A Woman I Didn't Like songs
$8.39 They say you can take the boy out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the boy. Such is the case with Stagger Lee, New York City's own Country music star. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, young Stagger grew up listening to the likes of Conway Twitty, David Allan Coe, Willie Nelson, and Hank Williams. Stagger did not look like ANY of these artists, though. Determined to be a trailblazer, he took his traditional country influences to the stage, amidst an onslaught of a new "pop-country" genre sweeping the nation. In June of 2003, the "Cajun Asian," as he had begun to be known as, packed his bags and headed for The Big Apple with his producer, NNMaddox. Maddox and Lee began crafting a "new" sound, by simply returning to Country music's roots. Hillbilly Heroin is truly a testament to Stagger Lee's ...
| | Joshua's Whisper Tempted CD (2007)
Never Met A Woman I Didn't Like album
$8.55 Joshua’s Whisper was formed in the late 1990’s by Jersey brothers Greg Bailes & Tim Bailes. Through their musically gifted family, it’s seems inevitable for these guys to follow the path they did. After basing themselves in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, and many drummers later, they hired drummer Jeff McDonald. Their visions of establishing a band that could incorporate a blend of heavy deep riffs and powering vocals had come to life. Taking the opportunity to play and perform throughout the United States, their music, a fresh new sound to the ear started giving these guys the recognition they deserved. In the spring of 2001, this three piece sound machine was given an opportunity to introduce their demo to a panel of record execs in Atlanta GA. The demo was received well by Attack Records. Soon after, producer Mark S. Berry President and CEO of Attack ...
