Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re; Behind The Scenes Simon Templar (Val Kilmer), AKA The Saint, realizes his skill for trickery during his childhood in a Far East orphanage. He uses his natural born gifts, including a penchant for bizarre and effective disguises, to obtain things for people which they can not obtain themselves. When he is hired by a Russian crime boss (Rade Serbedzija, BEFORE THE RAIN) to use his chameleon-like abilities to lift the secrets of cold fusion from Oxford-based scientist Emma Russell (Elizabeth Shue), he has little idea he might fall in love with his victim--or be double-crossed by his snakelike employer. Based on the character created by author Leslie Chateris, which spawned dozens of novels and a popular 1960s British television series starring Roger Moore. Soundtrack featuring Orbital, Underworld, Daft Punk and others available on Virgin Records.

Saint Movie Review Average Rating: (3.3 out of 5 stars) Val Who can argue with Val Kilmer's acting, if you think you can you should watch some of his less popular titles, he is a great actor and while this isn't one of the best movies on the face of the planet he is still great. | | Einsturzende Neubauten - Halber Mensch DVD (1986)
Saint movie DVD
$17.05 Pioneers of the industrial music genre, Berlin's Einsturzende Neubauten were avant-garde innovators of the highest caliber. The group's name is translated to mean "collapsing new buildings," and their revolutionary sound lived up to the implications of the moniker: along with contemporaries Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire, Einsturzende Neubauten aimed to destroy the mores of rock music. The group incorporated white noise and grating, sometimes excruciating vocals, as well as such uncommon "instruments" as construction materials, power tools, and clanging metal objects. The record HALBER MENSCH, released in 1986, exhibited a more structured arrangement, and was lauded by ...

$22.15 Tim Burton's BATMAN, inspired by Frank Miller's graphic novel THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, is a Gothic, Wagnerian treatment of the Batman mythos that explains the origins of Batman (Michael Keaton) and his nemesis, the maniacal Joker (a ripe Jack Nicholson).
Gotham City is a sunless, ominous haven for criminals, held in the corrupt grip of crime boss Carl Grissom (the ever-magnetic Jack Palance), and terrorized by a sadistic vandal and murderer known as The Joker. But it isn't long before a dark, mysterious caped crusader, who goes by the name of BATMAN, is on their trail and trying to thwart their evil doings. In this darkly entertaining retelling of the Marvel comic classic, ace photojournalist Vicki Vale (warmly and sympathetically played by Kim Basinger) is also on the trail--she wants ...

| | First Films Of Samuel Fuller DVDs (1949)
Saint DVD
$32.55 Known for his wide-ranging oeuvre, fierce independence, and controversial subject matter, director Samuel Fuller is a true maverick filmmaker. Presented here are three early films that showcase his hard-hitting style.
The B western I SHOT JESSE JAMES, Fuller's feature debut, is based on the life of Robert Ford, a friend to the famed bandit who later shot him in the back. BARON OF ARIZONA tells the story of con-artist James A. Reaves, an obscure but notorious figure who, in the mid-1800s, forged documents to seize the entire Arizona territory. THE STEEL HELMET, a blunt look at the grim realities of war, follows a wounded American soldier who joins a platoon trapped inside a Buddhist temple. It took Fuller only three weeks to script and shoot the film--the first about the Korean War--and its ...
