U2 - Rattle And Hum Video U2 - Rattle And Hum Movie Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews A POWER production Impressive, outstanding, superb. I watched this DVD spellbound. The superlatives kept
exploding from the performance, from musicianship to execution of the material. I bought this DVD because it was being marketed cheaply. Until then a non-U2 fan, I now stand transformed. I defy any musician of class to criticise the choral performance of 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for'. Not for the bands performance, but the sheer beauty of the music in it's interpretation. In my collection approaching 60 music DVD's, Rattle & Hum is very near the top. I recommend it. A GRAET MOVIE FROM A GREAT BAND!!! This movie may not of done so good back in 1988-89, but it sure does rock! The black and white of Macnichol's Arena in Denver, and the colorful yet still dark scenes at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe,Arizona capture some very heartfelt performances. Their travel across the U.S., and their performances in Dublin are the best ever. Submitted by a reviewer (Montague, NJ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 2 found this helpful.
Rattle 'N Hum along with U2 This rockumentary is truly one of the most powerful of its kind, and despite other artists efforts to use it as a model, none have been so successful as U2. The DVD spans the spectrum of emotions from the frustration that Bono shows during "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" to the playful side of the group in "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and "Heartland."
Throughout the entire DVD, the sound and ability of these men to perform and to alter what they perform on stage is unbelievable -- you would think that it would take more than 5-10 minutes to get ready to add "All Along The Watchtower," but that's all that they needed and ended up giving a great set for the night.
Don't pass this one up -- all other rockumentaries can't even compare to U2's "Rattle 'N Hum." Submitted by a reviewer (Omaha, NE) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 2 found this helpful.

U2 - Rattle And Hum film
$12.85 The feature film debut of Hayao Miyazaki (NAUSICAÄ OF THE VALLEY OF THE WIND, PRINCESS MONONOKE), THE CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO depicts one adventure of the master thief Lupin and his rough-around-the-edges gunman, Jigen. Something of a cross between Batman, James Bond, and Cary Grant's character in TO CATCH A THIEF, Lupin is a suave ladies' man who is also given to feats of athletic daring, aided by a gadget filled belt that gets him out of more than a few scrapes. The plot has Lupin and Jigen traveling to the sleepy little country of Cagliostro and coming to the aid of the unwilling fiance of the diabolical Count Cagliostro. After CAGLIOSTRO, Miyazaki stopped creating "slapstick" feature films in favor of more serious fare; CAGLIOSTRO shows, however, that he is quite capable of delivering the goods in this genre. Based on the Lupin comics by the artist Monkey Punch, CAGLIOSTRO is a great ...
