5 stars A great movie and Matt Damon is excellent
Matt Damon is my favorite actor. He is great in this role. His character has alot to deal with in this movie. It is a good story,interesting, and some great subplots with the courtroom drama being the main plot. Matt Damon rocks!

Definately one of the most under rated movies that matt damon has done. Excellent plot line and very well scripted. A definate asset to any collection.

3 stars Not as good as the book
I remember reading the book not too long ago and thinking that this would make a great movie. A friend of mine told me it was and so I bought it. It could be that I don't care too much for the character narrating some of the scenes. I also may be unfairly comparing it to the pace of The Firm, so you be the "judge".

The Rainmaker is a powerful film that features one of the best casts ever assembled.Matt Damon,Jon Voight,Danny DeVito,and Claire Danes give awesome performances.
