We love this movie because I grew up with an Elvis fan in the family. So watching it brings back wonderful memories that I'm now passing on to my family. The condition of the tapes are excellent.

 Elvis doing what he does best
I enjoyed this film - it took me back to my childhood of growing up on Elvis movies (my mom is a big fan!). If you like Elvis and his songs you will like this movie, that's mainly what he does throughout this entire movie - sing. Very pleasant, no-brainer kind of film.

HAWAII IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE DVD IS VERY CLEAR. MY LARGE HD TV MAKES IT EVEN MORE FUN TO WATCH ELVIS.

Directed by Todd Phillips (who also directed HATED, a documentary of punk renegade GG Allin), BITTERSWEET MOTEL roams freely from onstage to backstage to rehearsals to interviews with fans, giving a three-dimensional look into a band that studiously avoids big-media hype.
This eighty-minute documentary tracks the band over the course of a year--on and off stages across the United States, Europe and at home in Vermont.
