Formerly the singer from the 1990s dance-electronica duo Groove Theory, Amel Larrieux makes her solo debut with the soulful INFINITE POSSIBILITIES. The 10 songs blend the downtempo cool of Roberta Flack and Sade with the danceable funk of Prince and Stevie Wonder, a low-key but effective combination best heard on the single "Get Up" and the soaring neo-soul of "Down." Fans of Jill Scott, Angie Stone, or Macy Gray, take note.
