I cannot give you a review at this time for the simple fact I wrote you an email telling you that the DVD was defective and I needed to exchange it. I cannot find the packing slip and I am unable to follow the instructions on the back.

2 stars Not worth the wait
I have been waiting a long time to see this film but never got around to it. Being a great fan of Joan Collins I was thrilled to find out that it was on DVD..my friend got me this DVD as a christmas present and it arrived a few days ago. I was terribly disappointed..the plot was totally flat, the quality of transfer to DVD was poor and the acting unconvincing. Even allowing for the fact that it was made in the 1960 the scenes were not up to scratch, as for Joan Collins...one cannot say she was a bad actress but by god she has appeared in several bad movies...and this was certainly one of them. I guess it was my one fault for telling my friend that I wanted this DVD for christmas...what a waste!

3 stars This movie wasn't that impressive
The picture quality of this movie wasn't that great due to the movie being transferred to DVD. Some of the story's events according to the Bible was a little exaggerated. I expected more from this movie. The costumes weren't impressive, the actors weren't that impressive, and the scenery wasn't impressive. Other than that, if you want to visually see the story of Esther and all the characters involved come to life, then I recommend this movie.
