$16.45 I believe that God allowed me to write and create this CD in order to minister to people who can relate to the different things that I felt and experienced when I wrote these songs. I didn't start out thinking that I would do a CD, but it all started when I begin to make up music tracks. At first, they had no words, but as God increased my ability to play then I started to gettin lyrics to the music, and one by one I started writing full songs. Before I knew it, I had about 13 songs and then it hit me, "man what in the world are you going to do with these songs?". So, I took money out of my 401k account and took out a loan on some recording equipment. About 8 years before this, my wife and I went to recording school--so we had the knowledge and the ability to make this happen. Then we started a production company, and we named it FLAMING FIRE PRODUCTION LLC, so my first client would be myself. While at work one night, I looked up on the top shelf and saw a pallet of foam just sitting there like it was waiting for me. It was like I had a "light bulb" moment (ding), and I thought to myself--"man, I wonder if this foam is soundproof!". So I went to the plant manager and asked for it, and she said, "what are you going to do with this?". I said to that I was starting a studio. After a few months of having all this new recording equipment and a room full of foam, I decided to take three days off work to start working on my cd. At this time I lived in an Apartment and you know the people upstairs could hear me making all that noise, so I called my dad because his church was about 50 miles away. I asked him if I could use the church in order to start recording my CD, and he said, "yes". Now I'm thinking, "I wonder if he knows that I'm going to turn the baptism room into a studio. So for 3 days, my wife, my sister, my brother, and I worked on these 4 songs. GOD IS WAITING,THAT WAY,SEND YOUR WIND,ANGELSAfter my dad heard the songs, he said to me, "you know that noboby is going to believe that you recorded these songs in the (church's baptism room). I was so excited that I had finally got the music and lyrics out of my head and onto some "wax", I didn't know what to do! But to make a long story short, this is how I started working on this CD. Each song is from an actual experience; that's way I know this CD will lift up and Bless you and give you joy because I wrote, "Joy Bells", when I was down and needed the Joy of the Lord to srengthen me. Now I'm product of what I write and sing and I thank God that he took me ...
