Rattlesnake Guitar: The Music Of Peter Green. Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars)   This album shows why Peter Green is the BEST!
A simply awesome album. So many great players here that some weren't even allowed to be listed as they were under contract to other record companies and weren't allowed to play on the album but did it anyway out of respect for Peter Green, the original founder of Fleetwood Mac. It was called Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac for a while.
All songs on this album were written by Peter Green except for "Hellhound on My trail", which is listed as "traditional".
Rory Gallagher does one of the finest songs on the album, "Leaving Town Blues", with a killer slide guitar. Rory recorded the song in June of 1995 and died less than a month later. Many other performers who played on this album are now dead but their music lives on forever. A "must have" album for Peter Green fans and blues fans. You won't be disappointed, that's for sure.

All the greats paying tribute to another GREAT guitarist Peter Green. A must for any body into Peter Green or the blues John
