| | Jeff Foxworthy Sold Out CD Jeff Foxworthy Discography of CDs
Sold Out is a live concert featuring Jeff Foxworthy's trademark "redneck" humour. The crowd interacts well with the comedian and his performance is consistently funny, even if it isn't particularly special. ~ Sara Sytsma

| | Jeff Foxworthy You Might Be A Redneck If... CD (1994)
Sold Out album
$7.19 YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK If... is taken from Jeff Foxworthy's two Showtime Comedy specials.
YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK IF "you've ever been too drunk to fish" or "the UFO hotline limits you to one call per day" or "your dad walks you to school because you're in the same grade." Some of Jeff Foxworthy's stand-up comedy seems to reach below the belt of good ol' country boys and girls, but he's really just laughing at himself, which is to say he's laughing at the kind of guy who thinks Texas is "where people talk normal." Foxworthy talks normal by those standards, and for most of his routine he makes observations about the usual subjects like being single and being married, but with backwater twists.
His are men who think loading the dishwasher means getting their wives drunk; women who do 99 percent of the cleaning but "are not as proud of their 99 percent as men are of our one"; men who would pay good money -- "ten bucks!" -- to watch birds eat rice and explode. If you buy this record, you're probably a redneck, but you'll understand it even if you're not.
While Jeff Foxworthy's classic 1993 breakthrough record may on the surface seem a one-note LP to cash in on the Southern comic's catch phrase, YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK IF. showcases one of the ...
| | Jeff Foxworthy Big Funny CD (2000)
Sold Out CD music
$12.59 Principally recorded live at the Indiana University Auditorium, Indiana.
BIG FUNNY was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Comedy Album.
Jeff Foxworthy's first album for DreamWorks, Big Funny, is also his first standup record not to rely heavily on redneck-themed material. Of course, Foxworthy doesn't completely abandon it, although he does seem to acknowledge that it's time to move on in the title of the bit "I Thought I'd Heard Every Redneck Thing"; there's also a hilarious, well-done impression of stock car driver Jeff Gordon, mimicking how difficult it is to understand any comments given in post-race interviews. But for the most part, Foxworthy concentrates ...
| | Weird Al Yankovic Alapalooza CD (1993)
Sold Out music CDs
$7.59 Following the genuinely inspired Off the Deep End, Alapalooza is a disappointing hodgepodge of weak originals and lame parodies, only slightly redeemed by the accurate satires of The Red Hot Chili Peppers ("The Bedrock Song") and Aerosmith ("Livin' in the Fridge"). ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
One can tell just by listening to Alapalooza that Weird Al Yankovic was having a hard time writing clever material to coincide with the current musical trends. The album's title is indeed appropriate -- the musical content varies from track to track. Many ...
| | Velvet Underground White Light/White Heat CD (1968)
Sold Out songs
$6.85 WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT, the Velvet Underground's second album, is the band at their most calculated and perverse, but also shows another side. It is a glimpse of the more accessible rock which Lou Reed wrote, but wasn't fully comfortable with until the group's third album. WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT also introduced guitar sounds and production so abrasive that the feel wasn't duplicated until even punk had matured into New York's downtown art/noise scene nearly twenty years later.
WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT is ...

Sold Out CD music
$6.69 "Who would include the song "Rabid Rabbit", complete with rapid fire, off key falsetto, on an album that they had intended to reach an audience through means of a music critic?"-South of Main Stream- CD Review of "Equivocal" (Nov 2003) http://www.southofmainstream.com/reviews/brokentemple_review.htmlBroken Temple is Andy Poen Wu (vocals/guitar), David Wu (bass), and Bill Woods (drums). Formed in January, 2002, the band played their first show in April. A month later, Broken Temple surprised many by taking first place in the Rock 'N' Roll Round-Up 2002. Out of 11 hard-rock bands from Washington, California, and Idaho, the tenacity of Broken Temple earned them the title, "Last Band Standing." The band immediately produced a CD, using the title "Last Band Standing", and consigned them with several Seattle record stores. Unfortunately, after several shows the sales for the CD was weak with less than a dozen sold. In 2003, Broken Temple released "Psychorock". Although the band signed a publishing contract with Rolling Rochaus for the album's last song "Rock the Funeral", the release did not lead to any show offers or CD reviews."Equivocal", the third album of Broken Temple, is to be released in 2004.Andy is the leader of Broken Temple. Growing up in Taiwan, he often dreamed of grand adventures inspired by Jing Yong's wuxia novels. At age 10, he moved to America along with his mother and brother. His father stayed in Taiwan ...
