Master of the Stratocaster.
"Stone Cold and "Power" were major video successes, and well-deserved. "Eyes of Fire" is haunting and melodic. I believe the jewel of this album is "Miss Mistreated": echoes of the old Deep Purple classic are clearly evident.

kinda pop
It's not Ronnie James Dio singing but Turner does a decent job singing. The music is good but still reminds you of a pop band and not a rock band.

half of the tunes on this vinyl are blackmore at his finest. The other half suck. The solo off stone cold has never been surpassed and the riff and vibe in tearin out my heart are the heart and soul of blackmore's style.

Solid Album
This album isn't as bad as the critics make out. The songs were a bit softer but "Death Alley Driver" is an awesome song.
