A genuine classic
I think this is an absolutely fantastic CD! Kottke is an amazing guitar virtuoso, but he also presents with his own quirks and unique turns.

Superb Acoustic Guitar
I consider this to be one of the finest recordings of acoustic 6/12 string folk guitar in recent history. This man masterfully conveys the magic of acoustic guitar to the extent that one is convinced more than one person must be playing (or overdubbing has occurred).

No Goose Flatulence
This is an extraordinary demonstration of guitar virtuosity without the need for overdubbing and gimmics. Leo Kottke infuses his music with the self-deprecating humor that define this album's liner notes and his live performances (when I first saw him perform in 1970, he introduced himself as Loretta Lynn).

yeah leo kottke is the dude, at the same level as the big lebowski. this would sound sweet if he did it on an electric guitar thats what im saying.
