When Trumpets Fade film It is so rewarding to see these forgotten conflicts bought to the screen, so that we can be reminded,once again, how many died for so little. This is only a tale of a few in that conflict,but so well told, acted, and filmed,and I have come to appreciate that this is the quality that HBO gives to their productions. Peter B.

Not as accuarate as I would have expected, However the storytelling was great, would have like to have seen it in the theater.

When Trumpets Fade review I thought the movie was Ok, not great. It reminded me of the old WWII series "Combat" with Vic Morrow. It was like an extended and significantly more graphic episode of that. Interesting beginning and ending. Though there are a core of actors that make it thru most of the movie, the viewer never is allowed to get close to any of the characters--you feel like you are on the outside looking in. Otherwise, it was a decent "war" movie. I could do without the language that is not necessary, but prevalent in most movies today.

||This was the best war movie I've ever seen!|
When Trumpets Fade DVD for sale This movie was so good! It showed in real life how battles were and it helps get out some infomation about an important battle that no one seems to know about because of the Battle of the Buldge. Honestly, I was moved by this movie and I recommend this movie. I don't even normally enjoy war movies and I LOVED this one! So watch it FORSURE!

||Finally a change from US WW2 movies!!|
When Trumpets Fade movie The thing that struck me most about this movie is how it shows the poor boys who didn't want to fight but had to, and the vulnerability of green recruits. Some feel this is an Anti-War show, but it just shows how it was like for those who fought.
