| One of the best Pop Musicals I've ever seen
I always reffered to Idol Maker when ever I would see Peter Galligher in anything but never think of the title til googles now I have it and its better than I remembered Sharkey is also phenominal.

| just a great movie
this movie made me sit and think about everything... but importantly it helped me to see that you can do anything you put your mind to and if you try hard enough you will amke it and suceed.

I saw this movie 20 years ago, I believed that my memory was not that good and probably the movie was not really good enough, but in any case I took my chances and decided to buy it.

| Undiscovered Masterpiece from the 80's
Idolmaker film The Movie was very popular in the 80's on HBO. I don't recall it being a box office success. Very entertaining from start to finish.
