"Feet Of Flames" was the hugely successful follow up to "Lord Of The Dance" and brought Michael Flatley worldwide renown and popularity. The show has toured the UK extensively and won many fans not only for the stunning dancing but for Ronan Hardiman's brilliant accompanying music. Originally commissioned to write the music for "Lord Of The Dance", Flatley was soon catapulted to fame and has won a huge number of credits and awards for his work.
Original score composed by Ronan Hardiman. Performers include: Anne Buckley (vocals); Michael Flatley (flute). Personnel: Ronan Hardiman (keyboards, programming); Anne Buckley (vocals); Dave Keary (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bouzouki); Máire Breatnach (fiddle); Michael Flatley (flute, dancer); Paul Drennan (keyboards); Jason Duffy (drums). Audio Mixer: Chris O'Brien. Recording information: Big Studios, London, England (06/1998); BJG Studios, London, England (06/1998); Park Studios, Dublin, Ireland (06/1998); WindMill Lane Studios, Dublin, Ireland (06/1998). Arranger: Ronan Hardiman. Michael Flatley is one of the top dancers and choreographers in modern performing arts. Lord of the Dance rivals Bill Whelan's Riverdance as one of the top dance phenomena of the '90s. Feet of Flames is also an important dance event of that decade. It matches Flatley with Ronan Hardiman again. As an event, it loses much in the translation to CD, but the music is beautiful and diverse. Hardiman covers many different styles and genres, including Celtic, new age, orchestral, contemporary vocal, and atmospheric ambient. It is an entertaining listen but more worthy of a visual experience. The disc will appeal to fans of the aforementioned discs by Flatley & Hardiman and by Whelan. ~ Jim Brenholts

Feet Of Flames Soundtrack Songs Feet Of Flames Soundtrack Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Mystic, powerful,...but whether somebody heard a new version Hi guys,
This CD is perfect, it's great for relaxing, dancing,... But much more better I have ever heard is improved version of Feet of flames as you can see on M. Flatley GOLD from Budapest. The second half part od DVD is from Budapest and if anybody knows how to get the new version of Firedance, Celtic Fire, Thunder and lightning etc. then I'll give you many thanks. It is problem to get these songs on CD , btw I'm able to buy it, but I don't know where because I guess this version has never recorded on CD. And last question, what do you mean who is a composer of new version of Feet of flames, which is currently played at Thailand? It is still R. Hardiman? GREAT Wonderful Marvelous My grand daughter is doing a solo to Celtic Fire and I just love this .One must really learn to appreciate the art of Irish dancing not a feat aquired by all. It truly amazes me and I could watch it all day, and listen to the music with a song in my heart. As usual Michael outdone hisself again

Get up and Dance!
I have to say that this is one heck of a soundtrack. For anyone who is a fan of Celtic music, this is one cd you can't go without. I personally enjoyed the music in " Feet of Flames" more than "lord of the Dance". It is more energetic and lively. You'll find you just want to get up and dance when you pop this into your cd player. Anne Buckly is fantastic, and who knew Michael Flatley a flute player? You won't be disapointed with this. Dreamgirls, the longest running musical to open during the 1981-1982 Broadway season, was a triumph of staging for director and Tony-winning co-choreographer Michael Bennett, who kept it moving with a cinematic flow, aided by the imaginative work of scenic designer Robin Wagner and Tony-winning lighting designer Tharon Musser, who placed the action within an ever-shifting group of lighting towers that made for instant scene changes.
