Shakespeare Done Well
The 'Taming of the Shrew' is a classic presentation of a Shakespearean comedy by two of America's great actors. The period costumes are excellent, and I highly recommend it for English Literature classes... especially 9th grade and higher.

This movie has it all.
Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor are well matched in this film. It has great comedy, sadness and joy. Young viewers might not understand the story line, but they would find it laughable.
