i love this movie because of the cats. i had two cats just like them. jimmy stewart was such a natural actor.

This is what all romantic comedies should be like. A fun romp. Kim Novak is pure pleasure to watch on the screen; this is what a starlet is supposed to look like.

5 stars 50's romantic comedy plus...
When Kim Novak casts her spell using her cat Pyewacket, the cinematography becomes hallucinatory; as it does during the cabaret song of the Parisian warlock. To get the viewer to see reality through feline eyes is a dazzling concept.An intriguing premonition of 1970's themes and film techniques, it's ahead of its time. Stylish, yet extra-dimentional, with intriguing artworks placed throughout the sets, only casually noted.
