Golden Voyage Of Sinbad Movie Review Average Rating: (4.8 out of 5 stars) Sinbad demands (& deserves!) attention!! Once again, Sinbad delivers. If you are a fan of Ray H. (as I've become), this film is a must. This movie is a cinematic celebration! . . . with wonderful focused fight scenes (involving a stone sculpture, a gargantuan griffin, and also a one-eyed centaur.) The cinematography and the story work together terrifically to present a tale of class and barbarism! Any movie-watcher must definately watch this adventuresome warrior's tale! Sinbad's Best Voyage This is my favorite Sinbad movie. The widescreen feature is awesome; this is how the movie was meant to be seen. This is also what "sword and sorcery" is all about. Sit back, close your eyes, and enjoy being transported into this truly magical land. Submitted by a reviewer (Saint Louis, MO) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Golden Memories... Another favourite of mine, as is any fantasy story featuring special effects by Ray Harryhausen. Sinbad is after the fountain of youth this time, but then again, aren't we all? Lots of nasties to do battle with, and always a ship to sail somewhere, as his Chevy was in for service. Another movie that every age will enjoy, especially the kids-we all were once! As always from me, very highly recommended!!!

$8.55 In Tim Burton's stylish, creepy retelling of the classic Washington Irving story, SLEEPY HOLLOW, Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) is a squeamish, bookish 18th century New York City investigator sent to a small town in lower Westchester county to look into three mysterious decapitations. When the always rational Crane arrives at the little Dutch village, he finds that most of the townsfolk believe the culprit to be the Headless Horseman, the ghost of a monstrous Hessian soldier (Christopher Walken), who seems to be mysteriously tied in ...

Golden Voyage Of Sinbad movie DVD
$17.05 Director Peter Jackson's follow-up to his debut feature, the gross-out horror film BAD TASTE, is a scathing show-biz parody featuring a cast of foam rubber puppets. When we first meet our young hero, Robert the Hedgehog, he has just joined the Feebles (a Muppets-like musical theater troupe) as a member of the chorus. The group is busy preparing for its big live TV debut: "The Fabulous Feebles Variety Hour." If they do well and the ratings are high enough, they might get a syndicated series. Too bad that the show's host, Harry the Hare, is afflicted with venereal disease in its advanced stages, the smack-addled knife thrower is suffering from horrific withdrawal symptoms, and the star of the show, Heidi the Hippo, has developed a binge-eating problem after being dumped by the show's producer, Bletch, who, to top it all off, moonlights as a drug pusher. Poor Robert becomes a helpless witness to all sorts of perversions before events finally escalate out of control, culminating in a machine-gun shooting spree the likes of which are seldom seen in musical comedy. Of course, this sleazy puppet extravaganza is for adults only.
MEET THE FEEBLES, a puppet tragedy of gross proportions, relates the fateful events that lead to the infamous Feebles Variety Massacre - a day that rocked the puppet world! Bletch, ...

| | Dick Cavett Show - John And Yoko Collection DVDs (1971)
Golden Voyage Of Sinbad DVD
$17.89 Dick Cavett's 1960s and '70s late-night talk show retains an esteemed spot in the annals of television history for an extraordinary series of guest appearances by some of the era's greatest rock musicians. Among the show's most memorable musical guests were John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who appeared on three episodes and rewarded Cavett's wit and intelligence with a rare live performance and one of their most candid and sincere interviews ever captured on film.
Airing on September 11, 1971, John and Yoko's first Cavett appearance was historic for being Lennon's first on-camera interview since the Beatles' breakup. Even more remarkably, the trio's conversation was so engrossing that it continued well past the episode's time limit, prompting Cavett to assemble the extra footage into a separate episode aired two weeks later on September 24. The couple returned for a third, ...
