breathtakingly gorgeous
mistitled but breathtakingly gorgeous film. costumes, colour, sets, women, blood... so beautiful. and no, i am not morbid here, so-called blood is symbol of life, passion, love and hate. this is not gore movie. this is romantic, classy vampire movie.

Gary Oldman is awesome as Dracula
Bram Stoker's Dracula is an admirable film that makes a good attempt to stay loyal to the story, but stears away from it from time to time.Gary Oldman is perfect as Dracula and he takes the role to a whole new level.Surely there had to be someone better to play Harker than of Keanu Reeves. He does'nt even come close to the part.Despite a few flaws Dracula continues to live(kinda).

This is the best Dracula movie made so far. It really gets into the story of Dracula & has plenty of good actors.

reeves ruins it again
what possessed directors to relentlessly cast keanu reeves with an English accent? This movie could have been a 5-star without him in it. He couldn't even polish Gary Oldman's shoes. Oldman is again captivating and otherwordly, of course unlike any other character he has created. Winona is winsome, but a little lightweight, given what Oldman is creating. Rich visuals, nice reds. Should have killed off Reeve's character early, that would have been satisfying.
