The Spinanes had a particular acumen for deprived sanguine college rock that was as reclusive as their deprived and sanguine fanbase, although Imp Years proved the band was far more caustic than most people gave them credit for. Imp Years buy CD music Collecting the band's 1992 pre-Sub Pop 7" singles, this diminutive compilation crawls with abruptness and melancholy.
