Given that much of John Barry's fame as a film composer rests on his influential work for the James Bond series, this 007-free collection isn't likely to please the majority of his fans; listeners who can get past this admittedly stunning oversight will nevertheless find much to savor here, however -- in addition to Academy Award-winning material from Born Free and Dances with Wolves.
