Additional Footage; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; Director's Comments; Behind The Scenes A group of young filmmakers, making a low-budget horror movie in an abandoned hospital, stumble upon a dead body and decide to use it in their film. To their dismay, this releases dozens of spiteful zombies from the netherworld, who trap the youngsters in the hospital with little chance of escape. Mixing tongue-in-chewed-off-cheek humor with gory effects, Parker and crew serve up a fun homage to such classic living dead movies as Romero's DAWN OF THE DEAD and Fulci's THE BEYOND.
This is the only Eric Clawson video. Stars also making their debut in this video: Jamie Donahue, Brett Beardslee, David Douglas. Dead Hate The Living! Movie Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews ... But They Love the Fans As a connoisseur of zombie flicks, I didn't come to this film with any great expectations, but it turned out to be well worth the effort of watching it. A zombie film for fans of zombie films, it displays its antecedents everywhere, with references to directors, stars ('You'll be the next David Warbeck!' 'Who?'), images and plot elements, including an ending that is all but pinched from a certain Lucio Fulci film. Unless you're of the school that dislikes in-jokes and industry references, you'll find 'The Dead Hate the Living' to be a fun, well-made romp, with some nice acting and direction, an enjoyable scenario and excellent make-up FX. A very attractive leading lady, too. The DVD includes the odd interesting extra and the whole package looks good. Not a great film, but a competent one and definitely fun, in a Charles Band sort of way. Submitted by a reviewer (Wollongong, NSW, Australia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

A fun movie for genre fans I have read a lot of reviews that bash this film- DO NOT listen to them! This is a fun movie with a lot of genre references that horror fans will really get a kick out of. You can definately tell that this is a low budget movie, but you can also tell that the makers really made a great little movie with what they had. Highly recommended for zombie fans. Dead Hate The Living! video
$10.29 The story of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr., a man whose complete belief in himself as an expert in anything he devoted his time to ended up ruining his professional career. Growing up in the American prison system, where his father was an employee, Leuchter literally stumbled into his first position as the individual who perfected the electric chair, making capital punishment run more smoothly for the officials, as well as victims. This improvement convinced other prisons that he could make the same adjustments to their chosen outlets: lethal injections, gas chambers, and gallows. Soon, Leuchter was the country's predominant expert on the maintaining and designing of execution equipment. The trial of one Ernst Zundel would change all of this, however. Charged in Canada with the publishing of historical lies in the form of a pamphlet which firmly refuted the reality of the Holocaust and proposed that the gas chambers at Auschwitz were an invention by Jewish sympathizers, Zundel needed the support of an expert ...

Gary Gray's thoroughly entertaining caper film--a remake of the 1969 crime classic starring Michael Caine and Noel Coward--doesn't merely imitate the original, and that is what makes it such a pleasant, wholly refreshing surprise. Mark Wahlberg stars as Charlie Croker, a smooth thief who orchestrates a flawless heist in Venice with the help of his mentor, safecracker John Bridger (Donald Sutherland). Together with his cronies--explosives expert Left-Ear (Mos Def), tech whiz-kid ...
