One of My Favorite Baroque Recordings With the majesty of Handel and the diversity and delicacy of Vivaldi and Bach, these concertos by the not so well known composer Johann David Heinichen have become some of my favorite baroque recordings. The performances by Musica Antiqua KÖLN directed by Reinhard Goebel are spirited with just the right amount of grandeur for the pieces with majestic brass; the recording is also very good. Visitors at my house always want to know who the composer of these wonderful pieces is. Submitted by Robert (Virginia, USA) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
