Another Fine Day is Tom Green, who utilizes several instruments, electronic processing of found sounds, and computer software to fashion an elegant variant of ambient music. Whereas the first Another Fine Day album LIFE BEFORE LAND was comfortingly spacy and abstract, SALVAGE is much more immediate and varied. Green constructs lush, melodious soundscapes that are delicate without being fey and rhythmic without slipping into faceless dance-grooves.
"Twisted Standards" has charming jazz-tinged piano, recalling the '60s recordings of Horace Silver and Vince Guaraldi (the latter of whom wrote the music for the PEANUTS cartoons), set over a matrix of rainforest percussion. "Urban Fox" features twanging, mysterious plucked strings, tabla, bubbling electronics, and a gently insistent cadence that brings to mind both the forbidding jungle and an urban pastoral. SALVAGE is ethnically oriented chill-out music for those who like ambient instrumentals that avoid the blandness that often plagues the genre.
Recorded in London, England. Includes liner notes by Tom Green.

| | Frederic Delarue Dolphins... A Message Of Love CD (2005)
Salvage songs
$19.39 "Dolphins: A Message of Love" is quite simply one of the most beautiful albums I've heard in a long time!Frederic Delarue's third album of original instrumental works is stunning in its richness, passion, and joy. Delarue has created vibrant, inspiring music, and some tracks feature the sounds of dolphins and the ocean. I really like Delarue's first two albums, "Voyage of the Soul" and "Soaring With the Angels," but think this is by far his best work to date. "Calming" and "soothing" are words that come to mind, but the music goes beyond that, as it can be listened to many times ...

| | Squires of the Subterrain Strawberries On Sunday CD (2003)
Salvage CD music
$6.76 The mutually beneficial partnership between cult psychedelic legend "Big Boy Pete" Miller and four-track, day-glow eccentric-off-the-old-block Chris Earl continued apace on the pair's second full-length collaboration, Strawberries on Sunday, with Earl holding down the performing side and Miller sitting in the producer's seat. This time around, too, the Squires of the Subterrain supply all the songs. This is recognizable most often when the sonic touchstones step outside the '60s and wander into the post-Sgt. Pepper era. "Sweet," for instance, electrifyingly updates choogling, glitter-eyed '70s power pop and glam rock. "Minutes Before the Destruction," "Ferret Girl," and "Marisol," too, are built from layers of overdriven synthesizer washes or dirty fuzz guitar that could put hair on your chest (or both), yet they never lose the melodic dazzle that makes all the greatest ...

Salvage music CDs
$7.49 3rdRayle was born on August 23, 1983 at the infamous French Camp Hospital to a 17 year old Tonia Renee Taylor. He spent his first eight years growing up on the then deadly streets of the Conway Housing Projects on the south side of Stockton, Ca. In 1993 he moved from his mothers house off of Charter way to live with his dad on the then safer North side. He grew up around drugs, drug dealing, and as he describes a very influential gang enviroment implemented by his older brother Marcus. 3rd Rayle felt the pulls of life early as his parents were never married leaving him feeling "blown in the wind" by life and the troubling times it has to offer. At the tender age of nine he and his cousin started experimenting with rap by rapping over his uncles old record instrumentals on a tape deck receiver. As he grew up he grew out of rapping, however rap music was always a part of his life. One of the most prominent rap figures he grew up listening to was none other than 2pac Shakur. 2pacs' way with words as well as ability to put them to a beat simply amazed 3rd Rayle. The gift of poetry and spoken word was also in his soul although he would not discover this until middle school. 3rdRayle is a connoisseur of music as his tastes range from rap and r&b to rock and old school. In 2001 after the tragic death of R&B phenomenon Aaliyah, and going through personal struggles of his own, he felt he needed to express him self in a manner that could truly elaborate on how he was feeling at the time. Calling on his gift of writing he elaborated on how he felt in a way that only he could. It was then that he met his friend and future partner in rhyme Strykez. At this pivotal point in his life that he decided to combine his uncanny ability of writing and expressing himself with words with his love for music that would later transform him into the rapper he is today. As he started getting more serious about his rapping he called upon the inspiration of his childhood idol, 2pac. Intrigued with the way 2pac was able to put his life experiences on paper to a beat 3rdRayle began to do the same with is own life experiences. Armed with 3rd Rayle’s unmatched ability to express himself with words, and Strykez uncanny play with words, the two began their quest for greatness, starting at the most humble beginnings with a karaoke machine in Strykez’ garage recording on tape. This spawned the birth of the group Lyrical Outlawz. Around this time 3rdRayle ...
