With tracks like James and Bobby Purify's "I'm Your Puppet," Billy Stewart's "Strange Feeling," Etta James' "Stop the Wedding," and James Brown's "Please Please Please," this would look like a classic soul collection, except that the set also includes doo wop and '50s classics like Ritchie Valens' "Donna," the Tune Weavers' "Happy Happy Birthday Baby," and the Fireflies' "You Were Mine." Nice transfers and odd song selection make this an interesting little set. ~ Cub Koda
